The Durham Company Trade Waste

The Durham Company offers a comprehensive range of services for the collection and disposal of solid commercial and trade waste operated on a 7 day a week basis.

This includes:

General business, office and commercial waste
Food and catering waste
Dry non-hazardous wastes
Industrial and commercial waste that
can be compacted

We work with customers on a contract basis and can arrange collections of waste bins on a regular basis at times to suit your requirements. We operate throughout North East England in the Tyneside, Wearside and Teesside areas.

We offer four types of waste collection containers:

Plastic Bag Collections
For collections where wheeled bins are not practicable or for businesses with limited space and access we offer plastic bag collections.

Our large high capacity bags are provided to you and collections are made at convenient times. All you need to do is bag your waste, secure the bag tops and deposit them ready for collection and correct disposal.

360 litre - 'Wheelie Bin'
These are light-weight manoeuvrable and hygienic two wheeled plastic bins with lockable wheels and lids.

Capacity and dimensions:
360 litres (12 cubic feet) - 625mm wide x 1095mm high x 850mm deep Typical usage is for light waste such as paper, cardboard and plastics. They are suitable for small shops, restaurants and businesses.

660 litre - Wheeled Bin
These are medium sized wheeled secure plastic bins with four lockable castors for maximum maneuverability and can have lockable lids.

Capacity and dimensions:
660 litre (23 cubic feet) - 1050mm wide x 1465mm high x 1370mm deep Typical usage is for medium volume waste such as paper, cardboard and plastics. They are suitable for medium sized shops, restaurants and businesses.

660 litre - Wheeled Bin

1100 litre - Wheeled Bin
These are larger capacity wheeled secure plastic bins with four lockable castors for maximum maneuverability and can have lockable lids.

Capacity and Dimensions:
1100 litres (38 cubic feet) - 1370mm wide x 1160mm high x 770mm deep Typical usage is for Light commercial and trade waste. They are suitable for retail outlets, pubs, clubs and light industrial businesses.

Combinations of the above options are available to suit your specific needs for space and waste capacity.
